Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paylocity (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2024
Interview
I made it through three rounds of the interview process which I thought all went well... then was surprisingly ghosted, even after extensive follow up. I am very disappointed as I thought Paylocity was an employee-centric company with a strong communication culture.

Question 1
How did you handle the communication strategy for organizational change?
Interview process took nearly FIVE months which is honestly the longest I think I've ever endured. Just seemed the company couldn't decide what it wanted not only for the role but also from candidates. Met with way too many people to even count and then made me wait nearly 4 weeks to reject me. I'm honestly so thankful this role didn't pan out because I wouldn't want to work at a company that's so indecisive.

Interview
The interview process is endless. I don't care what companies say; speaking to the recruiter is an interview. You have to make a good impression on them to move forward! After speaking with the recruiter, it's the hiring manager, then a panel presentation (yes, a presentation I had to create), and then the hiring manager's boss. Also, provided work samples. Companies like this don't read feedback or credible sources, indicating candidates are fatigued from interviews. Also, with all these interviews and a presentation, how are we supposed to do all of this AND work our current jobs simultaneously? If you know the process is not a pleasant experience for the candidates, modify it!
