I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PaperCut Software (Portland, OR) in Jul 2017
Interview
The interview process is thorough but thoughtful. Communication during the process was top notch even though I was one of two final candidates, I was always aware of where I was at in the process.
The one thing that I would want to tell a potential candidate is that the process is indeed very thorough which can get tiring, but hang in there, the thorough interview process results in quality people who are a good fit for their role and the company culture.
In past interviews, the further I went in the process, the more confident I was about a potential offer. With this process, you may be one of two candidates that go through the full interview process and only after those steps is a decision made - so remain hopeful but best not to assume.
It is worth the process. Come ready to be professional, intelligent, and breathe a little - PaperCut wants humans (with personality and all).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked a variety of questions regarding key technology/networking terms and their surrounding use-cases. This was challenging but credit was still awarded for partial knowledge on the subjects and it was done in a fair format.
