1. Quick HR call to gage interest in the job. 2. Excel test to do basic engineering calculations based on school knowledge. Also, some excel work proving you can use excel at an OK level. 3. A few short calls with current members of the team you will be joining (3 calls for me). If all goes well you get an offer!

General HR-type interview with CEO covering past experience, knowledge of company and industry, basic behavioral questions. Follow-up interview with hiring manager covering role-specific questions and technical experience. Technical interview via timed Excel document covering basic heat balance/mass balance problems and basic Excel proficiency.
