I applied online. I interviewed at PROART Consulting
Interview
I interviewed onsite for a mobile developer role. What stood out was the mismatch between the company’s stated reason for requiring an onsite interview and the interview itself.
I was told the interview needed to be onsite because candidates may use AI assistance during technical interviews. Based on that explanation, I expected a structured technical assessment. Instead, the interview was largely behavioral and ended in around 10 minutes, with very little technical discussion.
The issue is not rejection. The issue is that if a company asks candidates to come onsite specifically to avoid cheating in a technical evaluation, then the process should actually include a meaningful technical evaluation. Otherwise, the onsite requirement feels unnecessary and the candidate’s time is not being respected.
