Considering this was for executive level role, it seemed that this search committee lacked experience to consider/vet candidates at this level, as well seemed inexperienced with best practices in nonprofit management. Process seemed last minute, haphazard, and inconsiderate (last minute scheduling, too short of time extended to candidate for their assessment process). Lack of regard to professionalism and candidates. Felt more like applying for a low level admin role than executive level role. Not a surprise to receive rejection, as they seemed to be going through the motions (maybe going with internal candidate, but forced to go through the process to make things legitimate).
