It is a two step process. One with recruiters and another with the department person. The process can be quick but for some it isn't always depemds on the department.
The recruiter called for a screening and she seemed very unenthusiastic about her job. She didn’t introduce herself and just launched right into the screening questions. Overall it was a very awkward screening and I never heard back despite contacting the recruiter several times.
