One of the Employee referred me and after initial phone screening,
1) Ihave attended the interview. HR sent me a Hacker rank test. But, she said it's not mandatory for the process but need to complete before interview and will not affect the actual interview process.
Why do we need to write a test if it't not madatory?
2) I went for an onsite 1-1 interview. One manager received me and straight away asked me why i am switching my job with in 2 years? Why IC role? After 10 mins,again another manager joined the interview and he abrupted our discussion and then asked same questions and then went out from room and then both went out of the interview room leaving me alone.
3) He brought another panelist and started asking programs. When i am trying different approaches,then he says why i am not giving solution with first attempt and acting as a BOSS. His questions were not relavant and frequently changing topics.
Over all it's bad experience. If they don't want any one who switched company in last 2 years,they can avoid calling me. If they don't want a manager to work in IC role,then HR should stop screening candidates in higher roles in current job. If they don't want to take the result of Hacker rank test, then why do we need to write the test.
