I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at OpenText in Mar 2022
Interview
Interview started off strangely. They began by asking me what my favorite courses were that I have taken, and then my least favorite. They then asked me about my hobbies, to which I tried to steer towards some relevant experience I had, but was cut short. Overall the questions asked seemed very demeaning as a younger university student, if they had actually glanced at my resume they should have realized that there were more valuable things to talk about and no waste our time. The team lead then proceeded to spend nearly 10 minutes talking non-stop about the position. No technical or coding questions were asked, which was incredibly surprising, and it seemed that they had already decided on someone else. Felt like a waste of an interview, even if they had found the perfect candidate already, it would have been nice to have a good, challenging interview experience.

I Had a great interview experience! The interviewer was friendly, made me feel comfortable, and asked insightful questions. The conversation flowed naturally, and I appreciated the clear communication throughout the entire session.
