OpenGov Solutions Engineer interview questions

HORRIBLE & RUDE. Reached out to a manager on LinkedIn (they specially posted if you have experience working within a building department, which I have 8+ years of experience) They scheduled my initial interview, then had me write a letter explaining my background and experience. Interviewer was super excited about me and was hyping up the next two rounds. Then they had me meet with the VP of solution engineering, who was late to my interview that they set up. Then she proceeded to ask me what we were meeting on & then wouldn’t let me provide any background about myself. Was very rude and disorganized. Was confused on why I was interviewing when they were the ones who set up the call. Then proceeded to question my experience and say that I jumped around from jobs too much, when I have retained the same jobs for 5+ years, while graduating with my masters in 2020 THEN proceeded to tell me that the position was already filled. Very rude and disrespectful. Honestly baffled at the whole experience.

The process was executed completely through zoom and phone calls due to Covid. Had that not been the case, I imagine an in person interview would have taken place. The zoom process was great. It was easy to schedule and I had some great conversations. There was a panel interview that was intense. Not unfair, but not easy. The support from Ben was superb throughout the process and I received additional coaching to help me through the panel. This support was a big factor in me accepting the position.
