Applied online within a week I had an interview. The company vision sounded great and I was excited about the prospects of contributing to the firm's goals. They have some ambitious growth goals for the next few years. The job was outlined as needing a senior level person. The recruiter asked for my salary requirements and I gave her my requirements, within the market band, based on Glassdoor and my previous compensation. She came back a few days later and gave me a band that was about 75k below the market. For what the position is requiring I believe that they will be hard-pressed to get a qualified candidate at their budgeted rate.
