I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oceania Aviation (Melbourne) in Jan 2020
Interview
I applied online, they took about 3 weeks to get back to me asking me to attend a group interview.
As this interview was for a mass induction for a new location as they've just received a contract for Melbourne Airport, it might be a bit different from other interviews for smaller intakes.
I went to the interview and we where shown a presentation about the company, the role, pay rates and everything in between. That took roughly an hour.
We then where asked to come and have a one on one interview (this was very short and sweet as there where a lot of candidates)
I then received an email asking me to do a Drug & Alcohol and an Audio test the next day.
After hearing back from the initial email, the process was very fast.
It was one of the easiest interviews I've ever done.

Question 1
What have you done previously for work and why do you want this position?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Oceania Aviation (Sydney) in Feb 2019
Interview
Applied on seek recieved an email for group interview. They basically explained what they do and that they can only offer 4 hour shifts for sydney international airport. Could offer parking discounts. They seemed to prefer bulkier men and they didnt seem to want females. They made us play with spaghetti and marshmallows and then Lego. To assume our personality I guess. They're a small business for a reason. They weren't professional I felt and the interview was a waste of time. They could have advertised that it was one 4 hour shift a day so people didnt waste their time driving in.
