Obsess interview questions

Really nice HR person who described the role well and outlined the interview process. Next I met with hiring manager which also went well. Finally, completed an assessment that took some time and was challenging. I got a rejection note 3 days later that was generic. That said, I followed up for feedback and got more insight into the decision.

Pretty standard first interview (30 minute Zoom call). Moved on to the next round and had second interview scheduled, but on the day of, the recruiter reached out and said that they might be going in a different direction and I would find out by the end of the day. Did not get anything until a couple of days later when they sent the generic rejection template. All in all seems to be a sloppy interview process (as someone else mentioned this happened to them but in the final round). Don't waste people's time who prepare for interviews to happen that end up not even happening, and reject candidates immediately, or at least give a heads up that's not just a couple of hours before the interview is supposed to take place.
