I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OLX Group
Interview
It was transparent from day 1. There were a few stages: after sending the application, they reviewed it, invited me to the HR screening; after this, I was invited to a technical interview with a designer. After some time I got an email with feedback.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at OLX Group (Washington, DC) in May 2026
Interview
1. Recruiter screening
2. Two panel interview with Teams Leads
3. Interview with Manager and HR rep (currently)
The questions are in STAR format and aren't extremely hard, I was nervous and rambled until it made sense to me.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at OLX Group in Apr 2026
Interview
The HR representative initially spent a significant part of the call actively selling the company and emphasizing how strong the match was between my profile and the role. However, in the middle of the interview, she asked about my salary expectations and then said that their budget was below market level. As a result, we ended the call almost immediately.
Overall, the process felt poorly structured and quite confusing. If compensation was clearly below market, this should have been clarified before scheduling the interview, not halfway through a call after presenting the opportunity as a strong fit. It created the impression of an inefficient and inconsistent recruitment process.
