Interview
I applied via the nordstromcareers.com website. I was then contacted via email to schedule a phone interview. After a phone interview asking about my experience & why I wanted to work there, they asked me if I could fly out to interview in person. I did. I met with 2 people - one from HR and the other in personal styling, which was an area I was interested in. they were both very nice and easy to talk to. They both asked interview questions based off of the same sheet - including scenarios and "act it out" questions.

describe a situation in which you had a team member that wasn't doing their part - how did you handle the situation
So easy, I went to a job fair and was hired on the spot. They need people in the kids department, that's the easiest section to get into. They just ask about your personality and who you are.
Was inside Barton creek mall, hiring manager was prompt and clear with questions ranging from how I would handle difficult customers, to my personal experiences that could apply to the job.
