I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Sacramento, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Got a phone interview screening a few weeks after I applied. Got asked my availability, customer service questions, then set up a date for in-store interview. Interview went well, I came prepared and researched the questions and what to say. Manager said he would call me back monday and he still hasn't called. 1 week has gone by and im gonna follow up asking if they are still in hiring process...
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time when you provided leadership skills on a project
I applied online. The interview was split into two parts. An at home video recorded interview done by corporate and then a few days between to find out I moved along and will be interviewed in store.
Overall they were fairly common and easy questions. Mainly behavioral with how you would act in difficult situations or sharing an actual experience you with a difficult customer or something else along those lines.
I know some people get a phone interview instead of the video recording first, I'm not sure what the difference is in getting those.
