Interview went well and asked a lot of appropriate questions for an entry level job. I liked working here for the most part! It’s a great company and good benefits during my time there
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Short Hills, NJ) in May 2015
Interview
After filling out an application online and sending in my resume I was contacted via e-mail that Nordstrom was interested in what they saw on my resume and wanted to do a phone interview. The phone interview takes about 10-15 minutes. I was then asked if I would be interested in coming in for another interview. That interview was almost the same exact questions as the phone interview.

Question 1
These questions are very basic. Whats your availability? Why do you wanna work for Nordstrom? Describe a situation where you had to go above and beyond to help a customer?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nordstrom in May 2014
Interview
I initially filled out an application online. Then, a few days later, I received a phone call where someone from HR asked me about myself and why I wanted to work for Nordstrom. The phone call came unannounced but was simple and also consisted of questions about my availability. Then I was invited to a face to face interview. During the face to face interview, I first talked to a manager who asked questions about myself and then I talked to another manager who explained the positions in detail. Both interviews were laid back and more conversational than drilling. After the two interviews, I was told to wait a bit before I was invited to talk to the first manager again who told me I was hired. Just smile and be friendly to get the job.
