Interview
I applied on-line by filling out an application and questionnaire. The next day, I got an email to schedule an phone interview. The interviewer call me and ask the basics questions, ( why do you want to work at Nordstroms, describe a difficult customer service experience, availability) The interview took 10 mins and I was told I will be contacted the following week by email. I am still waiting to hear.
So easy, I went to a job fair and was hired on the spot. They need people in the kids department, that's the easiest section to get into. They just ask about your personality and who you are.
Was inside Barton creek mall, hiring manager was prompt and clear with questions ranging from how I would handle difficult customers, to my personal experiences that could apply to the job.
