I applied for the position and heard back right away from the "Head of Commercial". The interview went well. Then someone from their home office (e-commerce customer support) reached out to schedule another interview with one of the founders. They stated the would be scheduling the interviews in "CET" (Central European Time), so I replied with my availability and noted that it was in CET. I made myself available at 8 AM (est) to accommodate the time difference. The scheduler replied back asking if I was available even earlier than that because the founder doesn't work past mid day. We finally get the interview scheduled and about 10 minutes before the interview, the founder emailed me and asked if we could reschedule for an hour later. I graciously accommodated that request. I join the call an hour later and the C.O.O was on the call instead of the founder. She claimed the founder was "sick" and wouldn't be able to join the call. I sent a very nice thank you note to everyone but never heard back. Truly unprofessional euro arrogance and a bad way to start off your new business venture in NYC.
