      Anonymous Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Nextiva (Scottsdale, AZ) in Apr 2018

      Interview

I applied online and was contacted relatively quickly thereafter for a phone interview. After having that interview, I was invited in for an in-person. The recruiter really made it seem like this was a "rush," like they were in a hurry to fill the role. I met with the hiring manager and received positive feedback a few days later. Ok, I was moved on to phase two. I met with two other folks in the department. A few days after that, I once again received positive feedback and was invited in for a third meeting. I received sort of ominous thank-you note responses, like it was a pleasure to meet me, but that they were only just beginning the interview process, and I was supposedly one of the first. I should have known that was a kind way of saying they weren't interested. If companies want to hire you, they'll do so quickly. I kept following up with the recruiter, and, finally, after more than a month, I got an official "no thanks." Don't be fooled - if you are led on with all this positive feedback and indications that they want to hire quickly, it's probably a lie - unless you actually get an offer right away.

      Question 1

A while ago now, I don't recall. But, my interviews were more conversational in nature.
