NYU contacted me to schedule an interview two weeks after I applied. It was immediately obvious when the interviewer called a few minutes past the scheduled time that she was just going through the motions with me. It was over in 15 minutes. I asked her why she had contacted me and she said I was interesting. I never heard back. It was a waste of time.
