I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NYU (New York University)
Interview
Three rounds:
1) Interview with admissions officers and future coworkers. They asked all your standard questions and then there was a role-play scenario. Everyone was extremely kind.
2) Interview with Associate Director and Senior Admissions Officer. They were also very nice! They asked a lot about my experience and prompted another role-play scenario.
3) Meeting with Director. I wasn't selected for this, but it would've been the next step in the process.
It was an overall pleasant experience! The one thing I will say is that the interviewers in round two absolutely led me to believe that I would be called back for another round, even though I was not selected.
I have always been good at "picking up the vibes" and predicting the outcomes of my interviews and I was a little surprised that they didn't call me back. I think they are just very nice people who treat all applicants with respect.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NYU (New York University) (New York, NY) in May 2026
Interview
The recruiter reached out to me and set up the first HR call. That was 5 minutes, and the second round was with the team in the following weeks. Now it's been almost a week and a half without any updates. Wondering if anyone got ghosted after interviewing?

Question 1
One difficulty scenario, and what I would bring for the first team bonding event.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NYU (New York University) (New York, NY) in Jul 2016
Interview
There was an online automated interview followed by an in-person interview. It was very straightforward and easy. I felt comfortable. The interviewer was positive and made me feel like I was being listened to. I was able to ask questions about the job and get honest feedback. I also got the sense that the work culture was positive and that I would be supported.
