Montgomery Marketing Group's hiring process is dishonest. In my first interview with Mr. Montgomery, it became immediately clear that the interview did not match the position for which I had applied. The postings MMG places on Monster, LinkedIn, etc. have a variety of titles to entice recent graduates looking for entry level work in their field, but in reality they are conning young people into applying for sales positions. Despite the PR/Communications Specialist job title, I was informed that I would be working in "direct marketing" selling DirecTV packages at Costco or Walmart. None of the job responsibilities were even close to those listed in the posting I found online. The interview process consists of three interviews: the first interview is a simple, standard interview; the second covers the pay scale and promotional opportunities (it's essentially a pyramid scheme); I chose not to go forward with the third, but I was told it would be dedicated to any questions I had and signing paperwork, followed by starting training that day. The process would have taken place over the course of about four business days. I've included the most difficult question from the interview below.
