It was an interesting experience. The DON asked about my long-term goals and whether I had any experience with PointClickCare. She didn’t ask many other questions—nothing behavioral or clinical—which made it hard for her to really get to know me. She mentioned that many new grads tend to leave after gaining some experience, which makes them hesitant to hire new graduates. She also said that while she’s not perfect, she holds very high expectations. After the interview, she told me they would reach out by the end of the day, but I never received a call or email. I understand that sometimes you just don’t hear back when you’re not selected, but don’t tell me you’re going to follow up and then not deliver, lol.
