I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MongoDB in Sept 2022
Interview
The process is a little bit overwhelming (and actually they warn you about it in the very first interview) but it was incredibly smooth. In my case, I had 8 interviews: - 30 min interview with recruiter. - 45 min peer interview. - 4 technical interviews, 45 min. - 1h interview with hiring manager. - 5-10 min call for the offer. It can seem indeed daunting but I can guarantee without any doubt (I have been actively looking for a new job for 2-3 months and I have had dozens of interviews during that period) that it has been the best process I have had so far. Every single person who interviewed me was extremely kind to me and friendly and I did not feel nervous or intimidated at all. I remember that before I started the process I read a Glassdoor review which said something like 'the process is mostly aimed to check the soft skills rather than the hard ones: you can always learn the hard skills with training, but the others are the tricky ones' and that is exactly what I felt during the interviews and why I accepted the offer (among other stuff).
