There are three stages. Firstly, standard screening with a recruiter, and then a portfolio review where you present your work, and finally another behavioral with MongoDB designers who ask more design-specific questions.

Interview
Had a recruiter call. Questions were well tailored to the prep provided and very focused on the company. Recruiter was nice, friendly, communicative and punctual. Interview process was a lot of steps, but it was really nice that they laid them out in such detail/clarity. I did not move forward but recruiter did not ghost me and kept me up to date at multiple stages of the process.
The most thorough and extensive interview process I’ve experienced among all my summer internship interviews. The recruiter provided detailed instructions, clear expectations, and helpful heads-ups before each round, ensuring I felt prepared.
