I had 5 interviews over the course of about 1.5 months. One with HR, then hiring manager, two technicals, and one with the director. At the end I was told my linux skills were not sufficient. If that's the case then why move me on to the final round of interview with the Director? Regarding the final interview, this person was 10 mins late, and very rude. They showed clear frustration and anger that they had to interview me, despite already meeting with the hiring manager. Drilled me like it was another technical, then at the end while I was thanking this person, they just got up and started leaving the room while I was still talking and didn't care. Complete waste of my time.
This whole process left a bad impression. Even after getting rejected the HR person told that the team thinks I would be a great fit for a Technical Support Engineer position. That position is almost purely linux, you have to know the in's and out's of that. Nothing made sense to me at all.
