I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2022
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me to schedule a half hour time to discuss the position after I applied. At the appointed interview time, the recruiter was 5 minutes late, and then said they were finishing up other work and asked me to wait another 5-10 minutes (which I politely did). Our time last about 15 minutes together, with basically two questions and a brief rundown of the position salary. I asked if I could ask a few questions, and the recruiter said no because they were meeting with the hiring manager right now to make next step decisions and had to end the call.

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (Berlin) in Apr 2016
Interview
One of the best processes I went through. Very transparent on the steps and timelines. All meeting where scheduled quickly and on time. I showed flexibility on the interview location and was even flown in to another city. Great people who cared about me as a person and we're looking for a great fit. Great vibe already in this step.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (Ban Phone Savang)
Interview
Initially recruiter called for 40 min screening, a week later panel interview was scheduled with 4 persons and rescheduled again last min with different interviewers. I ended up speaking with only 2 interviewers. call was 10 min late, no apology and i tried to break the ice at the beginning but very cold start. Classic interview question, not even STAR question.
