I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Memora (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2024
Interview
I applied in March and never heard anything so I'd written them off. Come June they circled back to see if I was still interested, turns out they started interviews and realized they needed other skills and I aligned well with what they were looking for. I started interviewing in July. I finished interviewing in early August. Each time, it was a long drawn-out waiting game, and I had to follow up often. When it came time to talk to the CEO, I was asked when I could start, shared the benefits one-sheet, and confirmed my compensation. Typically these are all signs that they are preparing to make an offer. After the last interview, I had to wait 2 weeks to find out that they decided to make an offer to someone else. I have a feeling they made me wait so that they could complete interviews with other people before they made a decision, but they weren't transparent about that.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They had a case study interview where they asked to you to pretend it's 2020 and how you would go about designing a new feature that would allow clinicians to do things virtually. Rather than wanting you to follow any kind of process for why you'd come to the solutions they wanted you to jump straight to solution. Which I found really odd. I got the feeling this might be how they work, reactionary to client requests.
