A lot of scenario based questions and a technical take-home assignment. Big red flag was that they refused to disclose the salary even after asking twice, once in the initial interview and again in the final interview. I've also heard that Meltwater underpays so that's most likely why, but extremely shady to go through a 3 stage interview process while refusing to even disclose a salary range.

Question 1
Describe a challenging time in your life and how you overcame it
I applied online. I interviewed at Meltwater (Cape Town) in Feb 2021
Interview
The interview process is straightforward. They sent you an email scheduling a telephone interview. If you pass the interview you are invited to a group zoom interview with all the shortlist candidates and analysts managers. You are than introduced to Meltwater as a company and what the position advertised entails. After that they create another shortlist of candidates for the last round of interviews.
2 interviews and 1 assignment before decision. The interviews were comfortable and laid back. A lot of scenario and character questions. Feedback on the assignment is given in the 2nd interview.
