Interview
It's not always quick and easy to get hired. The job interview process can be lengthy. Being interviewed once and getting a job offer is typically a thing of the past. Today, many companies have an involved interview process starting with screening interviews, which often take place on the phone, followed by in-person interviews, second interviews, and even third interviews.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Medversant Technologies (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2016
Interview
Spent over two hours there interviewing with four senior level people (VPs and the CEO) and thought things went well. Left feeling pretty good about the interview. Followed up with Thank You notes and received a, "Thanks, you should be hearing from us soon." response from the CEO. That was a nice way to go into the weekend.
I followed up with a few days later with the person who set up the meeting (she had been very pleasant and responsive) but got no response. Followed up again thinking maybe she was out of the office. Again, no response. Then followed up with VPs also but zero response. After spending over two hours interviewing and having to pay over $20 for parking (they don't validate so make sure you have money for parking) a simple 'Thanks for your time but we decided to go with someone else' would have been appropriate. Unprofessional.

Question 1
Typical interview questions, tell me about your background, what are your strengths, weaknesses. General conversation to see if personality would be a good fit for the team.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Medversant Technologies (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2010
Interview
The hiring process was really quick because credentialing is an industry that never takes a break. Companies that do credentialing always need staff. I had two phone interviews and an in-person interview. The first phone call was to determine that I was a real applicant and not crazy. The second phone interview was with a manager to see if I fit what they were looking for. The in-person interview was two managers and two VPs. I sat down with the two managers and we talked about my experience and the company. Then I spoke with the VPs separately.

Question 1
There weren't a lot of difficult questions. Basically, they wanted to make sure that you can the appropriate knowledge in internet research, phone etiquette, and the appropriate Excel, Adobe, Word skills. Just be ready to answer how you would deal with doing repetitive work and what is more important between speed or accuracy.
