Phone Screen went well, so they invited me for an in person interview.
In person interview went quite well, although they skirted around the topic of compensation and training. 1st red flag.
She said that she was a straight shooter and I could ask her anything, and said that I should do a shadow day if I was interested in moving forward.
Then I did one of those online personality tests, so I had a second phone call with them to go over the results. This also went well to the point that we again spoke about the shadow day to meet the team. We had a date picked and everything.
After that we emailed a little bit and confirmed the date yet again.
Then they completed ghosted me - After I had made sure I was fully available the day they wanted me to come in for the shadow.
I don't even mind that I didn't get the job, I wasn't 100% sure on my end anyways - It's the ghosting and a couple other red flags that have prompted me to share my experience. This is such a deeply poor representation of the company, I really feel that I dodged a bullet.
If you have gone another direction, your reasoning is your own, but let people know so that you aren't wasting their time.
