A really great example of an interview process. Everybody I met was calm, kind and had a really thoughtful approach to interviewing.
After an intro with the talent person and meeting the hiring manager, there was a pairing interview. The actual exercise was fairly straightforward and not at all intimidating but was a good starting point for some in-depth conversations.
There was a system design interview, which was an interesting and realistic problem and was a truly collaborative discussion. It gave a very good idea of what it might be like to work at Maze.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Maze in Jun 2021
Interview
The first step was an informal chat with the recruiter, then I had a more technical interview with one of the technical leads, a Karat technical interview, and then a final chat with one of the founders. The whole process was very efficient and pleasant, communication was flawless. The whole team made a great impression and answered all of my questions. One of the best processes I've seen.

Question 1
Karat: a few semi-open technical questions from 2 categories that I chose (out of 5 available), then a leetcode-style programming task.
The interviewing process with Maze went pretty smoothly! Everyone at each step was very kind and close. While I felt nervous at some points, they did a great job helping me relax and deliver what was asked. It mostly felt like a pair-programming session, which gave me a bit of a glimpse of how working at Maze could be :)

Question 1
They were curious about my work experience and asked me to architect and outline a solution for a problem the team had to work with in the past
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Maze in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview process was really fast - I appreciated Maze's swift and effective communication. I also really liked the fact that they researched my profile/my work before conducting interviews.
I found the process enjoyable and liked interviewing with every single person. There was also an external company included in the interview process - it was my first experience with such an approach, but I think it makes sense and I appreciated being able to pick a time that suited my needs and being able to interact with a person from a company that's specialized in doing interviews.
Overall it couldn't have been better!

Question 1
Maze assessed my technical skills in my preferred area by using code snippets, they also assessed my cultural fit and used an external company for a deeper technical dive, consisted of theory (I was able to choose areas to answer) and a live coding an algorithm.
