I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (London, England) in Sept 2014
Interview
First of all I applied online and I was told I was successfully straight away. The online application process includes a personality quiz and a scenario based assessment and takes around 45 minutes. The next stage is a face to face assessment/interview which I did the following day, which involved a role play exercise and a one-to-one discussion with two members of the recruitment team. Once the assessment was over I was told I got the job straight away. I had to fill in some mandatory forms with information of my next of kin, my bank details etc. The whole process took roughly one hour and was pretty straight forward.

Interview
The interview was very informal - more like a chat. Got asked about my previous work experience from my cv and the skills I gained from those experiences, Lasted around 10-15 minutes.

Interview
Was nice and simple - and the questions were good and they were really engaging in everything I was saying felt more like a conversation rather than an interview. Loved it everyone should apply to marks and Spencer’s big up
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (Cumbernauld, Scotland) in May 2026
Interview
The interview itself was very awkward, with no formal start to it from the person that I spoke to. I went into the store and asked the only person who didn't look busy, that person ended up being my interviewer however he didn't tell me that until we sat down in an office and the interview started. It really confused me which I think affected my performance
