I was given an offer and then ghosted after asking if the salary was negotiable. They were offering a below-market salary for the position, when I asked Gene if the salary was negotiable he responded positively with "What are you thinking?" I then suggested a $5K higher value, which he replied, "Okay, let me see what I can do." And that was the last I heard from Managepoint. I left multiple messages for Gene and even spoke with the HR Generalist Scott who said he would try to get a hold of Gene as well. It seems no one can get a hold of anyone at this company. The receptionist suggested that I speak with the Owner. I left a message for the Owner and to no surprise, I didn't receive any response. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company before. I could have already declined my other job offers since they offered me the position and then I would be completely screwed. Unfortunately, verbal offers cannot be trusted by this company.
