I applied online. I interviewed at Maddox Gallery (London, England) in Aug 2021
Interview
I was interviewed twice. I had to get back there a 3rd time for another interview as the head technician kept missing the meetings.
It was a bit distressing the fact that the interviewer wasn't there and we had to rearrange the interview
I applied via LinkedIn and just over a week later I received an email informing me that I had been shortlisted for a 10 minute call with the person overseeing the recruitment for this role.
The call took place on 28th August and i felt it went well. The person overseeing the interview was friendly. At the end of the call I was told I would definietly hear from them the next day regarding next steps. The following day I heard from the person overseeing recruitment that they were still reviewing candidates and that the following Monday I would heard something.
Monday came along with a rejection, despite emphasing my social media experience the person overseeing recruitment kept focusing on PR and my podcast, despite being told how i impressed them with my multitasking skills and approach to impending deadlines I wasn't going to be taken forward.
The rejection email was extremely long and felt like they were overexplaining and trying to justify with the smallest reasons why they didn't take me foward for this role.

Super casual vibe, not like an interview at all more like they’re selling the job to you. Honestly wouldn’t recommend it based on how it went. Felt off and not good.
