      I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at MX (Lehi, UT) in Aug 2020

      Interview

      I had applied online for this Corporate Development Strategic Lead role at MX Technologies. I was interviewed by a number of people over the telephone during the course of a few weeks. While the interviews were pleasant, it was quite unprofessional for MX in not getting back to me with feedback despite insisting that I attend several interviews with short notice given that they said that they were "in a rush" to fill this role. Candidates take time out of their busy work schedules to attend interviews discreetly and it is not appropriate for companies to ghost candidates who put in all that time and effort. More importantly, companies that treat candidates poorly make their brand, image, products, and people look bad. On a final note, I am currently in a new role, a senior position as a Strategy Leader at a large multi-billion dollar tech company. As fate would have it, I was recently chartered to assess whether MX would be a good acquisition fit for us; I had recommended that we not engage this company. This is a perfectly good example which illustrates that people – like job interview candidates – will keep in mind behavior that is not accordance with professionalism and common courtesy. Today’s candidates are tomorrow’s leaders and mistreating people may have adverse consequences.
