All the reviews and interview reviews on this page are for a different company than the one depicted. It's called murmuration but it's lowercase and based in the U.S.
I went through an exhaustive interview process with 5 rounds of calls and a reference check, and then they ghosted me for a month. I followed up twice and was eventually told that they hired someone else. I am close with all three of my references and am confident they gave glowing reviews, so I genuinely don't understand what happened here. It was clear that they went back to the candidate pool after checking my references, so I asked for feedback and was told that they found someone with more relevant experience, which didn't make sense because I'm highly familiar with the voter file vendor they use and was told that my experience working with partner organizations made me a standout candidate.
The entire interview process was highly unprofessional. The HR person who did my screening call fully missed our appointment time and then when we finally met, it was so impersonal and canned. I had a panel interview, two calls with the hiring manager, and one with the VP of the department. I was also given a skills assessment that took 2-3 hours and was unpaid. It seemed like they really liked me, so I don't know what happened, but maybe I dodged a bullet and this wasn't meant for me.
To the company: Please respect candidates' time moving forward. Between the interview calls, preparation time, and the skills assessment, I spent 10 hours on this process. Please compensate candidates moving forward, and show consideration for their integrity and reputation by not checking references unless you're confident you'd make an offer contingent upon positive references.
