I applied online. I interviewed at MSA Safety Incorporated (Lewiston, ME) in Mar 2025
Interview
Such a painfully boring interview. I don't know why they are marketing a manufacturing internship as an 'engineering internship' when the person I interviewed with openly admitted they don't do any engineering work at the location, and that she was the only engineer employed there. They honestly seemed to not even know why they were looking for an engineering intern or what type of work I'd be doing.
This might be the most comprehensive interview I have had the pleasure to go through. The interviewers were thoughtful and the questions were personal and made me introspect a lot while answering. That made me sure I would enjoy working with those who interviewed me.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at MSA Safety Incorporated in May 2022
Interview
I had an HR phone screen with basic questions about my experience, strengths, and weaknesses. I was explicitly told I would be contacted early the next week for a second interview, and they ghosted me instead.
