I applied online. I interviewed at MAG-City Marketing in Apr 2017
Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and emailed regarding an interview.
The company does not seem legitimate and I declined the position. Claims to be $8 hr OR commission of $500-$800 weekly which I find difficult to believe especially after hearing about other experiences. Driving around to different events that are sometimes 30 miles away (aka selling random and over priced product at Sams Club). Mikea also informed me that after 9 months you should be making at least 70k a year and getting paid to travel all over the world and host different events yet no one has actually gone through that "training" process that they seem to be selling young college grads on.
While I hope that all they promised is true for those who actually except the position, I highly doubt that anything I was told in my interview about the company is true so be cautious with proceeding. Also if you go in for an interview there will be other candidates waiting in the lobby and it is like an interview factory because people realize what it is and do not accept the position.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MAG-City Marketing (Houston, TX) in May 2018
Interview
Simple. You go in and wait a little bit though. The interview wasn't too bad, asked a few questions and allowed you to ask questions yourself. Very friendly and the environment is easy going. Asked about your experience and why you would be a good fit. Explains the job as well.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at MAG-City Marketing (Houston, TX) in Jul 2016
Interview
Its a 3 round interview. First is preliminary with the owner. 2nd round is hands on at an actual event. Third round is back at the office with owner. This gave me a chance to really get a understanding of the firm.
