I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Localize
Interview
This was such a bizarre experience I felt like it was worth sharing. I interviewed, was told I did well and that the person would get back to me in 48 hours. After that, the interviewer completely disappeared. FOR WEEKS, just radio silence. Not even the recruiting agency could get a hold of them or any answers. Then almost a full month after the interview I get an automated email saying the role has been closed. Not respectful of people's time, not communicative, and they basically acted like nothing happened.
I had an interview booked in for over two weeks with Localize for the above role. I had prepped and spoken with the recruiter during that time , making them aware of how excited I was about this position and the business. My interview day came and I was advised 50 minutes prior to my interview that the role requirement had changed and they would no longer be moving forward with my application. Very disheartening. I emailed to ask what the changes were so that I could understand why my profile did not fit. Never received a response. Super disappointing overall. Do your role spec thoroughly before reaching out to candidates!
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Localize (Christchurch, Canterbury) in Feb 2019
Interview
Very laid back, more of a meet and greet. Has a tour round the office, met the sales team, the design team, the SEO crew. Be warned these people really know there stuff, dont go for a job there if you dont know your stuff
