interview was concise with basic questions, recruiter attitude was polite. however, the case study was way too excessive for a mere unpaid intern position. it was very obvious they were trying to get free labor from candidates through the study case
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LindungiHutan (Semarang, Central Java) in Mar 2025
Interview
very technical, you should prepare the information about the company. You should know about yourself and your goals very well. The interviewers are critical and detailed. It can be better if you understand the pre-interview first, because mostly interviewers repeat that question.
I interviewed at LindungiHutan (Semarang, Central Java) in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview process with LindungiHutan was overall quite positive. The HR was very kind, communicative, and made the experience pleasant. In my opinion, they have great potential and truly deserve opportunities to advance in their career at a good organization.
The interview with the user was fairly standard, nothing particularly remarkable or memorable.
However, there were some aspects that felt less professional, such as the welcoming text from the CEO, which didn’t leave a great impression. Additionally, since this is an unpaid position, it may be worth reconsidering this approach to attract top candidates in the future.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Overall, the questions focused on product knowledge, which was quite relevant to my previous research for my thesis. They also asked about my willingness to work in an unpaid capacity and discussed what I hoped to gain after completing the internship. These topics aligned well with my background and goals, making for a thoughtful and relevant interview experience.
