Interview
I had four interviews (one lasting three hours), two calls, one psychotechnical assessment, two business cases, and a trip from Chile to Croatia over three months, only to be told they wouldn’t move forward with my candidacy. If that’s not a waste of time and resources, I don’t know what is.
Some red flags I should have noticed:
*A no-show for a dinner they organized, with no cancellation or apology afterward.
*Long waiting times for responses, despite promises of prompt replies.
*Endless meetings with the CEO, which turned into monologues.
*Criticism of business case results, despite my asking for clear objectives and being told, “Do it as you want.”
*Being asked personal questions not relevant for the position.
*Not a single mention of compensation at any point.
My advice: if there’s no offer after the third interview, just walk away.
