I submitted my cover letter and resume via email as directed under the career section of their website. I received a response from the CFO asking to schedule an introductory interview by phone and to provide dates and times of availability. After submitting my availability, I was informed this did not work with their schedule and the requested a specific date and time. I agreed to the requested date and time and placed the interview on my calendar. The CFO never called to conduct the interview as scheduled. There was no prior or subsequent communication relative to the scheduled interview time indicating they were moving forward with another candidate, nor did they practice professional courtesy by excusing me as an applicant.
