I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Labcorp (Overland Park, KS) in Jun 2016
Interview
Multiple managers were present for the interview and indicated a relaxed attitude was appropriate. A conversational tone, if you will. They proceeded to describe the job (falsely, they downplayed the data entry and mentioned procedures duties that in my entire time there I never actually performed) and tell a little bit about the hours (which was a lie, they tell everyone there will only be some overtime. Its extremely rare you will work less than a 10 hour shift and they absolutely blatantly lie to you about this)
The interview process for the specimen processor was a very easy process. It only took at 20 mins and my interviewers were very nice and made me comfortable. The most relaxed interview I have ever been on
It was very informal, a tour of the laboratory and a run down of the day to day duties and responsibilities. It lasted for about an hour. Very low stress.
It was an easy process. Not to many questions asked. Just about experience and they went over what was expected for the position. Asked if I was quick with learning , if I was adaptable to new environments.
