The interview has 3 rounds:
0. Phone screening
1. Face to face with supevisor/manager
2. Face to face with team manager
3. Phone interview with Japan site
0: Check of background and to make sure you know what you are applying for. Will discuss about salary package at this stage so make sure you bargain as much as you can
1: The manager was quite friendly, and asked a lot of personality questions. Just stay calm and composed and you will do fine.
2: This round is slightly more difficult. The team manager will initially be nice and friendly but once the interview starts, she will be in a business like tone and the personality questions asked were slightly more difficult.
3: As the competition between candidates were strong, hence an overseas phone interview was arranged, you will speak to a japanese team manager, be patient when you listen to her as she doesnt speak fast.
Overall, the interview process was long and it took a month before I got a confirmation. My gut feeling tells me that I am not the chosen one and was put into waitlist instead, as I got the call 2 weeks later and was forced to make a decision by end of the same day I received the offer. However, I rejected it because I felt that I have better offers than this as the pay isnt fantastic. You will only need to go down to their office only in round 1 and 2 interviews.
