I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Kumon in May 2015
Interview
The HR contact was very prompt with her replies to both my application as well as my emails. I completed a phone interview first with that same HR rep, and she was pleasant and informative.

Question 1
General Questions about my background and experience (it was a phone screening)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kumon (London, England) in May 2019
Interview
Telephone interview covering experience and reasons for applying. Then orientation day consisting of some Maths multiplications/division/fractions questions, multiple choice English and reasoning (lasting seconds). All tests combined last no more than 10-15 minutes. Followed by a 3 hour presentation about their methods and a none inviting interactive q and a. The presentation was difficult to sit through, delivered quite patronisingly, no enthusiasm from the deliverer who seemed not happy to be there nor did they seem to encourage group dynamics.
I withdrew myself from the application process after the presentation, could not see myself working there. Seemed a none staff stimulating company and felt no enthusiasm nor connection with the staff. It might be a great company to work for for some, but seems to be missing a lot.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Kumon (Teaneck, NJ) in Apr 2013
Interview
It took a while for Kumon to finally get back to me, but once they did, everything moved pretty smoothly and quickly. I had a phone interview with a lovely recruiter who sounded very knowledgable, friendly, and passionate about Kumon. Then I came into the office for an interview with the hiring manager and my direct supervisor. The questions were pretty standard, but because they were one-on-one interviews, I did have to repeat answers to several similar questions. I guess that worked in my favor! I was then taken down to observe a Kumon Corporate Owned Center and write my observations about it.

Question 1
I was asked to give a sales pitch. It was a little unexpected because I received a call only hours before my interview. However, my direct supervisor was very gracious about my performance.
