The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Kraken (London, England) in Sept 2024
Interview
It was simple and straight forward with 3 rounds. But could have been more
Organised. Because after the technical round was finished they were asking random questions on python in the cultural round and even in cultural for a senior engineer who already has got experience of about 6 years you don’t ask why choose de..makes less sense
The process was pretty standard, as also thoroughly explained by the HR contact person.
1. Meet with the team to which the role is attached; discuss product and tech stack (from both sides).
2. Take-home assignment.
3. Meet with the extended team to review the assignment; from a high level perspective, all the way to technical decisions. Questions were asked in both directions!

Question 1
The most important question and discussion I had with the team was regarding my motivation to join the company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kraken in Oct 2024
Interview
One of the smoothest interview processes I've ever had.
First phase was an initial touchpoint with the Talent Adquisition person, where the expectations from both sides were stablished.
The second part was an interview with 2 future peers to talk about the company and the candidate's background. I felt that this interview also contributed as a cultural fit.
The third phase was a technical challenge in Python to do it on your own, with an estimated completion time of 3h.
The fourth, and last, phase was a review of the proposed solution along with technical questions about the reasons behind each decision, and open to hear alternatives for more production-ready scenarios. In this case there were 3 interviewers in the call.

Question 1
The Python technical challenge was about ingesting some data in a specific way and do some analytics on the results. The questions were about the reasons behind each decision. Also, they asked for alternatives to the simple provided solution (it was a challenge done in 3h) more oriented to a production-ready environment.
