I talked to an HR person two weeks back that told me about the next interview phase that was supposed to happen last week and since then I haven't heard anything from them. Anyone who's not fresh out of school knows that this is a massive red flag. The interview process should always be swift as that's standard practice in the IT industry. Every single company I worked for either rejects your profile or accepts it within a week of the initial response to your application.
The interview should in theory consist of three steps: 1) the initial interview with the HR. 2) the interview with the CTO. 3) a Rust task. As you can see they expect a lot out of you during the interview, which would be fine. I had an experience like that before which I successfully completed. However, they don't really want to reciprocate here at all. They expect a lot while forgetting that you even exist midway through. This is at best unprofessional and at worst disrespectful, and frankly tells me all I need to know about the company and its culture. With such a horrible start I'd be a fool to want to be there, as it would only be downhill from there.
To add insult to injury, what they're offering as compensation is frankly an insult. It's well below market average. I could easily be making 150% of that at another company or more!
There's another red flag. They flat out lie about this being a blockchain job (to get more developers to apply I presume). Not explicitly, but they mention that blockchain knowledge is a plus. But the job doesn't involve blockchain at all. Any reasonable person would assume that it would as that's on the application, else why mention it at all? This is really shady if you ask me.
In short, listen to what people here are saying. This company is a joke. Don't waste your time, nor effort on it.
