I applied online. I interviewed at Keolis Amey Metrolink (Manchester, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
I invested significant time preparing for and attending a two-stage interview process, including developing and delivering a presentation. Given the level of effort required and the fact this was a People role, I would have expected, at minimum, a formal outcome- but was instead ghosted. These aren’t bulk recruitment campaigns and could be managed quite easily due to the low number of candidates likely seen. An organisation of this size, with a dedicated Recruitment function, providing candidates with an update, even via email, should be standard practice. The absence of any feedback or formal rejection creates a poor candidate experience and does not reflect well on the employer brand. I wouldn’t waste my time and effort, appalling

Complicated Employee Relations
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Keolis Amey Metrolink (Manchester, England)
Interview
Interview depends on the supervisor conducting it. If you have a reference from inside the company it helps a lot. Relatively straight forward questions. Psychometric tests take a day to complete, but they aren't overly difficult.
