I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kalepa in Mar 2025
Interview
The process was well-defined and professional. Meetings were scheduled promptly and on time. The questions were relevant and ample time was given for responses. The experience was good and it seems that the team is cool!

Question 1
Give me examples of things you are proud of from your previous jobs.
All the people I interviewed with were nice and friendly. If you want to go there be sure not to ask questions about work life balance at the behavioural interview. Or feel warned now not to even bother if don't want to do regular overtime. After the interview I received feedback why they weren't moving forward with me.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kalepa in Sept 2024
Interview
My interviewer gave me a live coding task and then completely shut down any attempts of me solving it. I actually bailed and we closed the interview earlier because I could not come up with a solution.
After I looked up the problem, I realized I was completely correct, not once, but twice. The solution I proposed initially was the correct implementation, but as my interviewer instantly shut me down and told me it's not the proper way to approach it, I scrambled for another solution. This solution was absolutely correct (and relatively efficient), confirmed by a simple Google search. Again, he told me instantly that it is not correct, and that I am not seeing "his" correct solution.
This left me with a bitter taste.
Also it was casually mentioned at one point that this is not a 9-5 company, that they want ambitious people who are there to get it. You want overworked monkeys who can only think in a singular, defined way.
